This architectural photography project documents a contemporary timber-clad farmhouse in rural Lincolnshire, photographed for 21Degrees to showcase a striking installation of high-performance windows and glazing. The property sits within a large poultry farm and combines a simple agricultural form with bold contemporary detailing, including distinctive blue-framed windows that contrast strongly with the warm timber exterior.

The brief focused on showing both the windows as individual products and the way they contribute to the architecture of the wider house. The photography highlighted the variety of glazing used throughout the property, from large corner windows and full-height openings to narrow vertical windows carefully positioned across the timber façade.

The house is designed as a highly efficient, off-grid home, making the performance of the glazing particularly important. Interior photography focused on the amount of natural light entering the rooms, the views across the surrounding Lincolnshire countryside and the relationship between the windows, timber finishes and clean contemporary interiors.

The shoot took place during an exceptionally hot summer day, with strong sunlight producing bold colour, reflections and contrast across the blue window frames and timber cladding. The landscaped gardens and rural setting provided a strong backdrop, allowing the final images to communicate both the architectural character of the property and the quality of the 21Degrees window installation.
