I photograph buildings, interiors and the products that go into them for architects, developers, contractors, designers and manufacturers.

I’m based in Sheffield, right on the edge of the Peak District, but a large proportion of my work involves travelling around the UK and further afield. One day might involve a house five minutes from home; the next could be a warehouse in London, a hotel in Scotland or several days photographing architecture overseas.

Most of my commissions fall into four closely connected areas: architectural photography, commercial photography, interiors and drone photography. I also undertake selected landscape commissions where the location and surrounding environment are an important part of the story.

Whichever type of shoot I’m working on, I’m interested in the same things: good light, strong composition, accurate perspective and understanding what the client actually needs the photographs to achieve. Sometimes that means one beautiful hero image; sometimes it means a comprehensive collection covering an entire development.
