Client: CENA Kitchens
Project Location: Peak District
This architectural photography commission documents a high-end outdoor kitchen installation by CENA Kitchens, set within a residential property overlooking the Peak District. The brief was to capture both the quality of the kitchen design and its relationship to the surrounding landscape, highlighting how the space functions as an extension of the home.
The shoot took place in strong, direct sunlight and high temperatures, which required careful exposure control and considered timing to manage contrast and shadow across the materials and work surfaces. The clear conditions, however, allowed the views across the Peak District to form a key part of the imagery, placing the kitchen within its wider setting.
Outdoor kitchens are becoming an increasingly popular feature within residential design, and CENA Kitchens deliver a particularly high-end interpretation, combining robust materials with thoughtful detailing and a clear focus on usability and experience. The photography focused on material finishes, spatial layout and the connection between indoor and outdoor living.
These photographs were produced for CENA Kitchens’ portfolio and promotional use, forming part of my wider architectural and lifestyle photography work across the Peak District, documenting residential projects that combine strong design with exceptional locations.
