Architectural Photographer in Leeds

Leeds has been a regular destination for my architectural work for years. It’s close enough to Sheffield to be straightforward, but architecturally it feels very different, with large commercial developments sitting alongside Victorian civic buildings, old industrial structures and rapidly changing areas of the city centre.
I photograph projects across Leeds and West Yorkshire for architects, developers, contractors and building-product manufacturers. Recent commissions have included converted commercial buildings, office interiors, residential developments and product-focused architectural work.
The scale of the city means I’m often looking for two very different types of photograph from the same project. The first explains the building properly: clean elevations, accurate perspective and wider views showing its relationship with surrounding streets. The second is usually less obvious — a detail, reflection, evening view or elevated composition that gives the project more character.
Leeds also lends itself particularly well to dusk photography. The combination of historic brickwork, contemporary glazing and city lighting can produce a completely different set of images once daylight begins to disappear.
For larger developments I regularly combine architectural photography from the ground with drone imagery, giving clients both detailed coverage and wider views across the city.
