Client: & Tradition
Project Location: Manchester, UK
This commercial interior photography project documents a temporary &Tradition pop-up showroom within Kvadrat’s Manchester showroom, showcasing a carefully curated collection of Scandinavian furniture, lighting and accessories. The brief was to create a set of images that highlighted both the quality of the products and the atmosphere of the temporary retail installation.

Although only a short-term collaboration, the showroom was thoughtfully designed, combining furniture, textiles and lighting into a cohesive exhibition space. The photography focused on capturing the craftsmanship, materials and fine details of the collection while showing how the products interacted with the surrounding architectural environment.

The shoot presented a number of technical challenges. The compact showroom limited camera positions, while the mixture of display lighting and natural light required careful balancing to maintain accurate colours and consistent finishes across the range of fabrics, timber and metal surfaces. Close attention was also given to composition, allowing individual products to stand out while retaining a sense of the overall space.

These photographs were produced for &Tradition’s promotional use, forming part of my wider commercial interior and architectural photography portfolio across Manchester, the UK and internationally, documenting furniture showrooms, retail spaces, workplace interiors and design-led commercial environments.
